June 3, 2008, Appreciations Circle
This will be our last ritual. We want to invite everyone who has participated with us for any of these rituals to join us in wrapping up this series. As with our February ritual we will focus our group attention on giving love and appreciation to each of us in turn. Each of us will be given spoken appreciation by everyone in the whole group and the opportunity to choose how to be touched the way we each would want to be touched by the whole group, either physically skin to skin or energetically aura to aura. For those of you who have experienced being loved by a whole group of people, you know how powerful this can be. A shower of Love. We want to appreciate you too. Come and join us June 3.

May 6, 2008, Meditative Trance Dance Ritual with DJ Alkemi
We will begin by casting a circle to sanctify the space and the time. We will express our inner selves individually, with free-flowing intuitive movement, eventually merging with the group. We will form a circle and move and chant as one being, in a space beyond space and a time beyond time. We will transcend our individuality and experience our oneness. We will dance meditatively for about an hour. We will be dancing with the waxing energies of the New Moon, manifesting happiness, love, and pleasure. You are invited to wear loose, flowy, colorful clothing or whatever you are comfortable dancing in. DJ Alkemi, a well-known DJ in the Boston dance scene, will be providing the music for our meditative trance dance experience.

April 1, 2008, Sacred Erotic Art
In some spiritual traditions erotic sculptures and paintings of gods and goddesses as well as male and female genitals are sacred symbols of the natural order of the earth, the creative generative power of sexual energy. In this ritual we will we will visualize through guided meditation what we personally find erotic to discover the fire of life within us and express that passion by drawing with magic markers and crayons on paper. This ritual is a preview of a longer workshop for those of us who would like to explore this practice more deeply. No artistic talent is needed.

March 4, 2008, Sacred Witnessing and Healing of Fears, Shame, and Secrets
In a culture that puts forth messages of shame and fear about sexuality, many of us have been taught to be ashamed of sexual feelings or anything 'unusual' about our sexuality.  We have developed many different ways to cope with this, from extreme secrecy to open defiance. Our own sexuality can be just as unique as our fingerprints; no two people are exactly the same.  So, even as society becomes more open, it can still be difficult to get through the shame that may have built up over the years. In this ritual, we will create a safe space of mutual respect, confidentiality, and support to share from the heart and reveal the secrets that have been keeping us prisoners of fear and shame.  We will use the power of our sacred magickal love circle to move beyond merely thinking and talking about our fears and shame to a place of healing, empowerment, and peace.

February 5, 2008, Love Circles
With Valentines Day coming up we thought we would focus on Love. Of course the group is always about love, but this time we will give each of us total attention. Each of us will be given spoken appreciation by everyone in the whole group and the opportunity to choose how to be touched the way we each would want to be touched by the whole group, either physically skin to skin or energetically aura to aura. For those of you who have experienced being loved by a whole group of people, you know how powerful this can be. A shower of Love. Ecstasy!

January 8, 2008, Birthing a New Vision
As we move into the new solar year we want to start it out with new visions for ourselves. Join us as we manifest the new and bold within our own lives at our next ritual. As usual we will create a container for our group energy. This month we will envision what we want to create in our individual lives and we will focus our group energy on giving birth to our visions.

December 4, 2007, Music Ritual - Singing, Chanting and Drumming
We will be doing rhythmic singing, drumming, and affirmations of self-love. Bring your voice and your small percussion instruments, including small drums, shakers, and bells. Join our love tribe as we celebrate the spirit of love in this festive season.

November 6, 2007, Sacred Love Rituals Group
You are invited to attend our ongoing ritual practice group to honor the divine within us and to cultivate sacred love energy. By learning to love our whole selves more deeply, including our inner spirits, our whole bodies, and our sexuality, we can nurture ourselves and grow into our own completeness as individuals and as a community. Health, happiness, bliss, abundance, and even enlightenment are potential benefits of our regular ritual practice.

October 2, 2007, Sacred Love Rituals Group
We are starting an ongoing ritual practice group to honor the divine within ourselves and within each other. By honoring our complete selves including our inner spirits, our whole bodies, and our sexuality, we can become more fully integrated and whole beings. By learning to love our whole selves more deeply, we can nurture ourselves and grow into our own completeness as individuals and as a community. Health, happiness, bliss, abundance, and even enlightenment are potential benefits of a regular ritual practice.

September 15, 2007, Honoring the Inner Divine
Honoring the divine within ourselves and within each other is a pathway to happiness and bliss and even enlightenment. By honoring our complete selves including our inner spirits, our whole bodies, and our sexuality, we can become more fully integrated and whole beings. By learning to love our whole selves more deeply, we can nurture ourselves and grow into our own completeness. Through regular practice of affirmations, meditations, and actions we deepen our love of ourselves and each other. We will explore the process of creating a ritual and then we will perform a ritual of mutual honoring. This workshop includes safe, consensual touch exercises with clothes on.

September 9, 2006, Sacred Sexual Rituals
Practicing ritual has many benefits: centering the mind, grounding in the body, raising the spirit, healing the body, and strengthening the connections between people and spirit. What is ritual? What makes it sacred? What makes it both sacred and sexual? What are ritual objects? How do you create a ritual? We will explore these and other questions and we will practice a ritual, including simple rhythmic dance movement, conscious connection, and shamanic meditation. This workshop includes safe, consensual touch exercises with clothes on.
