The Sacred Love Ritual Group(This group is no longer active) We (Deerheart and Ania) have hosted a ritual practice group to honor the divine within us and to cultivate sacred love energy. By learning to love our whole selves more deeply, including our inner spirits, our whole bodies, and our sexuality, we can nurture ourselves and grow into our own completeness as individuals and as a community. Health, happiness, bliss, abundance, and even enlightenment are potential benefits of our regular ritual practice. Our ritual practice drew from many traditions, including Tantra and Wicca. Our meetings included: ritual, discussion, affirmations, meditations, visualization, dancing, singing, conscious breathing, honoring the elements, sharing, witnessing, mutual support, and safe, consensual touch. Our emphasis was to deepen connection and integration through regular practice, within a consistent format. Our goal was to build and grow group energy and community over time by learning how to love and honor ourselves and each other. Our group was open to all sexual orientations, genders, and lifestyles. We focused primarily on individual and group work rather than pair work. Supporting Documents 1. Our Group
Intention Our Sacred Love Rituals Group met monthly in Cambridge on the first Tuesday of each month. There was free on street parking available and it is on the 77 bus line (Mass Ave). The meetings began at 7:30 pm, with potluck snacks and informal socializing to follow at 9:30 pm. A small donation of $5 - $10 was requested at the event to cover expenses. No one was turned away for lack of funds. If you have any thoughts about this ritual series and/or this group, I welcome your feedback.
